Justyna Salamońska is Associate Professor at Kozminski University. Justyna holds a PhD in Sociology from Trinity College Dublin. She previously carried out research and taught at Trinity College Dublin, University of Chieti, European University Institute and University of Warsaw. Her research and teaching interests include contemporary migrations in Europe, multiple migrations, migrant labour market integration, cross-border mobilities, quantitative and qualitative research methods.
Justyna currently coordinates the IMISCOE Standing Committee on Methodological Approaches and Tools in Migration Research (Meth@Mig).

Juan Carlos Triviño-Salazar is Assistant Professor of Public Policy at the Department of Political and Social Sciences in the Universitat Pompeu Fabra-Barcelona. He is also a Juan de la Cierva research fellow at the same university (formerly at the Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals – IBEI). His field of expertise is primarily focused on governance processes from a multilevel and regulatory perspectives in multiple policy sectors but with a special focus on immigration and integration.

More substantively, he studies the local governance of immigration and integration and the regulatory governance of policy sectors such as immigration, food safety, health, and finance.

He has published on matters related to his lines of interest in top-ranking journals such as Public Administration, Comparative European Politics, International Migration Review, Journal of European Integration, Ethnic and Racial Studies, the Lancet, American Behavioral Scientist, Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies, among others.

Since September 2022, he is the principal investigator of the project MUNMIGRA on local policy responses to presence of precarious migrants in Spanish cities. This project is funded through the Spanish Ministry of Science.

Marta Salinaro is a Research fellow at the University of Bologna. She obtained her Ph.D. in Pedagogical Sciences at the Department of Educational Sciences "Giovanni Maria Bertin", University of Bologna . Her research interests are aimed in particular at the study of intercultural phenomena and the different forms of social inclusion in complex societies, through a pedagogical approach. She carries out her research in the field of migration studies, on the reception and integration system of asylum seekers and refugees, on the role and pedagogical skills of caseworkers and on the training aspects related to this field of investigation.

Lisa was awarded a PhD in Sociology in 2014 from Uppsala University. Her research intrerest are primarily in sociology of work, labour maket integration, segregation, skilled migration and refugee studies, and professional boundary work. Lisa was also the chair of the Swedish migration research association 2016-2018 (IMER-förbundet).

Monika Salzbrunn holds a full professorship in „Religions, Migration, Arts“ at Lausanne University. She is the first female scientist in Switzerland to receive an ERC Consolidator Grant in Social and Human Sciences, for her project on ARTIVISM. Art and Activism. Creativity and Performance as Subversive Forms of Political Expression in Super-Diverse Cities. Prof. Salzbrunn was director of the Research Institute for Social Sciences of Contemporary Religions (ISSRC) from 2011 until 2015. Currently, she is the principal investigator of the projects „(In)visible islam in the city: material and immaterial expressions of muslim practices within urban spaces in Switzerland“ and "Undocumented Mobility (Tunisia-Switzerland) and Digital-Cultural Resources after the 'Arab Spring'", funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation.

Dora Sampaio (PhD Human Geography, Sussex) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Human Geography and Spatial Planning, Utrecht University. Previously, she was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Religious and Ethnic Diversity, where she explored the (im)mobilities of transnational ageing and caregiving with a focus on ageing Brazilian parents and their migrant offspring in North America and Europe, taught at the University of Sussex, and was a Research Fellow at the Centre for Geographical Studies of the University of Lisbon, where she collaborated in a number of international projects in the field of Migration Studies. Her research interests include international migration, life course, intergenerational relationships, socio-spatial inequalities, and urban displacement, primarily in Brazil and Portugal.
