Iraklis Dimitriadis is currently a Research Fellow at the Department of Social and Political Sciences of the University of Milan. He received his PhD in Sociology and Methodology of Social Research from the University of Milan and University of Torino with the distinction of Doctor Europaeus. He holds a Master’s degree in Geopolitics from the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne in France, and a Bachelor’s degree in International and European Studies from the University of Macedonia in Greece. Iraklis’ current research focuses on migration governance and asylum crisis in Italy, while in the recent years he developed research on labour migration and integration in the EU, with particular attention to informal employment. Other research interests include citizenship and identity, religion and immigration, labour studies and international cooperation.

Georgia is a PhD candidate and an A.G. Leventis Scholar in the School of Government and International Affairs at Durham University. Her research examines the concept of vulnerability in refugee resettlement, focusing on the practice of the Vulnerable Persons Resettlement Scheme in the North East of England. Through this she aims to offer fresh insight into schemes of refugee resettlement in England, contributing to the support and bettering of the everyday living experience of refugee communities residing in the North East. Georgia holds a BA in Philosophy, Ethics and Religion (Leeds Trinity University) and an MA in Philosophy (Durham University).

I graduated with my Master degree in Political Science and International Relations at Istanbul University in 2019.
I have been working as a humanitarian worker for many years in the field of migration, in particular refugee protection.
I participated in two field researches in Turkey: a field assessment on living and working conditions of seasonal migratory agricultural workers, and a needs assessment on Syrian refugees in Istanbul. In both researches, I colllected and processed the field data.

Filippo Dionigi is a Senior Lecturer of Politics and International Relations at the University of Bristol. He specialises in International Relations Theories applied to the Middle East, especially focusing on forced displacement.
