Strengthening Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Agencies' Capacity to Coordinate and Exchange Information to Investigate and Prosecute Human Trafficking and the Smuggling of Migrants

The Migration MPTF launched its new Joint Programme, "Strengthening Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Agencies' Capacity to Coordinate and Exchange Information to Investigate and Prosecute Human Trafficking and the Smuggling of Migrants," in Costa Rica.

Through this Joint Programme, partner agencies aim to strengthen the capacity of Costa Rican law enforcement bodies to identify, investigate and prosecute human trafficking and the smuggling of migrants while reducing the vulnerability of migrants to these crimes through a gender and human rights perspective.
