International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families

The International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families was signed in 1990 and entered into force in 2003. It is a comprehensive international treaty that deals with the protection of migrant workers’ rights. The Convention text is available in Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish. It deals specifically with consular assistance in  Article 16(7)(a), Article 23, Article 65 (2).
