Coordinated by the EU-IOM Knowledge Management Hub (KMH) with the financial support of the European Union (EU) and conducted by the Maastricht Graduate School of Governance of Maastricht University, the study presents key findings of two combined research projects aimed at highlighting the differences in reintegration outcomes among returnees.

The first study examines the impact of whether or not the return was voluntary and its consequences on the economic, social and psychosocial dimension of reintegration. A similar approach was adopted in the second study aimed at examining sex-based differences in reintegration outcomes and at better understanding gender-sensitive reintegration programming.

During the event, the study's background, methodology and findings from the field work conducted in AfghanistanBangladeshEl Salvadorthe GambiaNigeria and Somalia will be presented and shared through interventions from the EU, IOM and Maastricht University.

Webinars organized by the KMH and hosted on its Return and Reintegration Platform aim to present specific reintegration practices and encourage experience sharing.

The webinar will take place on Zoom and will be moderated by the KMH. A dedicated Q&A session is also foreseen to allow for meaningful exchanges with participants. Please register to the webinar and receive indications on how to join the session.
