The International Social Security Association (ISSA) is the world’s leading international organization for social security institutions, government departments and agencies. Global information regarding the exact number and nature of bilateral and multilateral social security agreements, and between which state parties these have been concluded, remains incomplete. To address this information gap, the ISSA is undertaking a survey of its global membership of social security institutions in over 150 countries.
