This reports look at the outcomes and recommendations of the Consultation with Academia held in preparation for the Regional Review for Africa. Seven prominent academics and migration experts from the North Africa region gathered to discuss emerging research priorities and most updated migration trends and data with regards to the progress of the implementation of the GCM in North Africa in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
