Please provide a description of the pledge:
Montréal a affirmé le 20 février 2017 son engagement à assurer la protection et l'accessibilité de ses services à toute personne migrante à statut précaire ou sans statut d'immigration qui vit sur son territoire. On estime à 50 000 personnes le nombre de “sans papier” à Montréal. En juin 2019, la Ville a adopté la « Politique d’accès aux services municipaux sans peur », s’appuyant sur un outil concret: la création d’une carte d’identification et de résidence pour un accès sans peur aux services municipaux. Durant la pandémie, et malgré l’arrêt des services municipaux, plus de 500 cartes ont été délivrées en 2020-2021. La carte a permis aux migrants d’accéder notamment à la vaccination contre la covid-19, aux banques alimentaires et aux services bancaires. Par ailleurs, pour répondre aux enjeux de protection et de sécurité, la Ville a déployé la « Cellule d'intervention et de protection des migrants » victimes ou témoins d'un abus ou d'un geste criminel. Aujourd’hui, la Ville de Montréal intensifie à nouveau ses efforts autour de 4 objectifs: 1) Former les agents du Service de police de Montréal pour réduire le risque de dénonciation des personnes sans statut à l’Agence des services frontaliers du Canada; 2) Promouvoir l'accès sans peur comme projet de société collectif; 3) Poursuivre son plaidoyer auprès des gouvernements en faveur de la régularisation des statuts d’immigration; 4) Structurer le financement pour les migrants à statut précaire d’immigration
