Sandra King-Savic is an international post-doctoral researcher at tUniversity of St. Gallen. She received her Ph.D. in Organization and Culture (DOC) at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) in February 2019. King-Savić is a lecturer on Migration and cultural studies at the University of St. Gallen, and volunteered as a human rights educator for Amnesty International. She conducted research for the Foreign Military Studies Office in the U.S. before receiving a Swiss National Foundation scholarship for her dissertation on the transversal relationship between migration and informal markets, and received various scholarships, including the Foreign Language and Area Studies and the A&S Study Abroad scholarship from the University of Kansas (KU) and the University of Wyoming (UWYO), where she received her M.A. and B.A. respectively.

I'm a Ph.D. student at Florida International University, Global and Sociocultural Studies department. I'm a Sociology track. My current research interests are Middle Eastern and North African (MENA) immigrants in the U.S. and identity construction.

Witold Klaus – holds PhD in law, he is a professor at the Institute of Law Studies, Polish Academy of Sciences (head of the Department of Criminology and of the Centre for Migration Law Research) and a research fellow in the Centre of Migration Research at Warsaw University; He is a lawyer, criminologist, migration researcher and activist - he was one of the founders and currently serves a member of the Board for the Association for Legal Intervention (was a chairman between 2005 and 2019).

Weronika Kloc-Nowak, PhD, is a sociologist employed at the Centre of Migration Research, Warsaw. She researches migrant families, with a particular focus on care, kinship and migrants' reproductive behaviours. Recent projects include "Grandparenting at a distance" a mixed-methods study of older Poles with geographically dispersed kin networks, and MIGFERT: "International mobility and disruptions in fertility patterns – towards new insights from a low fertility context". Weronika has extensive experience in qualitative methods, especially the biographic narrative interpretative method. She obtained her PhD from European University Institute, Florence, in 2015.
