Moving Voices is a campaign and platform that puts migrants at the heart of their own stories, revealing the extraordinary resilience and hope it takes to keep moving, even when the paths are fraught with danger and the risks are heartbreakingly high.

On 5 December, the United Nations Secretary-General will launch the 2024 report on the implementation of the Global Compact for Migration. The report outlines progress, challenges and recommendations to advance GCM commitments and improve migration governance.

The UN Secretary-General’s recommendations aim to save lives through risk reduction, better responses, improved identification, family support, justice, and stronger data. Action is needed now.

This Guidance provides key considerations, guiding questions, concrete actions and examples for governments and other stakeholders to support the inclusion of the GCM in voluntary reviews of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

RIBs are published ahead of each of the 5 Regional Reviews of GCM implementation globally in 2024/25. They provide a concise overview of practices and pledges, stakeholder engagement and Network support to UN Country teams.
