This interactive virtual event seeks to provide an overview of the progress, challenges, and suggestions going forward on 15 out of the 23 objectives of the GCM. Discussions will encourage the identification of opportunities for further progress and cooperation. Through the event, all the participants will have the opportunity to gain an almost complete understanding on the implementation of the GCM by the different institutions that are part of the UN Network on Migration, implementers in the field, and academia.

The outcome of this session will be to provide concrete examples on progress, suggestions on the way forward, and formulate a proposal to measure progress on the 15 GMC objectives that will be discussed in this session. Recommendations will be used for advocacy and building partnerships.
