Promising Local Practices For The Enjoyment Of The Right To Health By Migrants
Migrants face barriers in accessing health services, whether due to restrictive legislation, prohibitive cost, a lack of knowledge or fear. Some local authorities and health practitioners, however, are taking action to protect the dignity of migrant children, women and men.
This study by the UN Human Rights Regional Office for Europe maps creative and innovative solutions in cities throughout Europe to protect the right to health for migrants and to prevent the challenges that arise when people are left without medical care.
