Dr. Zahide Erdoğan received her PhD on Social Policy from the University of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt, Turkey. She holds a Master's degree in Public Finance from Gazi University and she is a graduate of Ankara University's Political Science Faculty's Public Administration program. She works as a visiting lecturer in Turkey. She has been working as an expert at the one of the public institutions since 2010. From October 2018 to October 2019, she was a visiting academic at the University of Oxford COMPAS. Her areas of expertise include integration policies, diaspora policies, highly skilled migration

I am a demographer and hold degrees from the University of Strasbourg (MSc, 2007), the European Doctoral School of Demography (EDSD, 2009) and the University of Bordeaux (PhD, 2015). Since September 2022 I work as an Assistant Professor at the University of Salamanca (USAL) and previously I have worked at the French Institute for Demographic Studies (INED), the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and the National University of Distance Education (UNED).
My research focuses on international migration and mobility in Europe, as well as the role of public policies in shaping them. I am particularly interested in the experiences of children and youth in migration: family situations, living conditions, legal status, education, health. I also study existing and emerging migration flows to and within Europe, with an interest in hard-to-count migrant groups, such as temporary migrants, return migrants, EU nationals, posted workers.
My research focuses on international migration and mobility in Europe, as well as the role of public policies in shaping them. I am particularly interested in the experiences of children and youth in migration: family situations, living conditions, legal status, education, health. I combine multiple data sources (surveys, population censuses, administrative data) and the analysis of their advantages and limitations, as well as existing data gaps is another line of my research.

Keina Espiñeira is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Sociology and Visual Communication, A Coruña University (Spain) and member of the Research Group in the Sociology of International Migration (ESOMI). She graduated in Political Science from Complutense University and in Visual Studies from Carlos III University. She holds a PhD in Political Conflict and Peace Processes from Complutense University and an M.A. in Documentary Cinema from Alcalá University. Her research focuses on the politics of migration and asylum in the Mediterranean region. She focuses her empirical research on the Maghreb and Sub-Saharan Africa. She teaches international relations, comparative politics, border and migration studies. Her artistic research practice arises from politics and academic activism, and it involves fieldwork from a multidisciplinary approach. She is director of documentary films in which she explores cultural geographies, landscapes and mythologies between Africa and Europe. Borders have a pivotal role in her work.

She holds the Associate Fellowship of the UK Higher Education Academy (AFHEA) which demonstrates compliance with the UKPSF Professional Teaching Standards for teaching and supporting learning in higher education institutions in the UK and Continental Europe- It is also recognised by many other universities around the globe. She is an active member of the Latin American Studies Association, British International Studies Association, International Studies Association, Political Science Association, Asociación Mexicana de Estudios Internacionales, among others.

She has taught in Mexico and abroad in the fields of political science and international relations. She currently works as the Head of the Undergraduate School of International Relations at Campus Querétaro.

She is a political analyst for Modern Diplomacy. She has participated in numerous international and national conferences on political science and international relations and has written on topics such as democracy, the European Union, British politics, Russia and the Caucasus, and contemporary Mexican politics.

She has also published several articles on these topics. Her research interests include: democratisation processes, governance and theories of the state, contemporary Mexican politics, Latin American politics, political parties, geopolitics; United States foreign policy; Latin America; Russia and the Caucasus; European Union and United Kingdom.

Cecilia Estrada-Villaseñor holds a PhD in International Migration and Cooperation Development from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas. Master's Degree in International Relations and Communication from the Complutense University of Madrid. Degree in Communication Sciences from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara, México, where she collaborated for the magazine NEXOS, in which she worked as an editor. She studied specialized journalism at the University of Belgrano in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is currently Coordinator of the Refugees and Forced Migrants Chair - INDITEX. Coordinator of OBIMID (Ibero-American Observatory on Human Mobility, Migrations and Development) at Universidad Pontificia Comillas in Spain.
