Humanitarian Aid passionate, IHL and Human Rights Law expert, I work in Brussels on Anti Human Trafficking and Anti Smuggling issues. I hold a Master in advance studies (LL.M) in International Humanitarian Law from the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights and a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Padova. Before focusing on UNTOC and its protocols, I worked for the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs monitoring EU policy developments and exchanging information on operational crisis responses. Prior I have worked for NGOs and diplomatic missions with a special focus on human rights.

Agnieszka Trąbka, PhD, is a migration researcher with a background in sociology and psychology. Since 2014 she has been working in the Institute of Applied Psychology at Jagiellonian University. In 2018 she also joined the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Warsaw as a researcher in the project “CEEYouth: The comparative study of young migrants from Poland and Lithuania in the context of Brexit” and “MIMY: EMpowerment through liquid Integration of Migrant Youth in vulnerable conditions” (Horizon 2020). Her research interests encompass migration and mobility studies, identity research, psychology of place and qualitative research methods. She is assistant editor of the journal “Studia Migracyjne – Przegląd Polonijny” (Migration Studies – Review of Polish Diaspora) and a member of the Committee on Migration Research of Polish Academy of Science.

Giorgia is post doctoral researcher at the LEST, University of Aix-Marseille, France. She holds a Phd in Economics and International Studies from the University of Aix-Marseille and University of Naples, L'Orientale. Her research focuses on third sector organisations dealing with reception for asylum seekers and refugees in urban areas, social movements and migration regime and multi-level governance of migration regime.

Anna Triandafyllidou holds the Canada Excellence Research Chair in Migration and Integration at Ryerson University where she is setting up a new programme of excellence in migration research focusing on Canada and the world. Anna has previously held a Robert Schuman Chair at the European University Institute, in Florence, Italy. Her research focuses on migration, cultural diversity, on both policy and identity issues with a strong interest in communication, gender and qualitative methods.
