Meghan is Director of Research for the International Program at the Migration Policy Institute (MPI) and for MPI Europe. She convenes MPI Europe’s Integration Futures Working Group and MPI’s Task Force on Borders and Mobility. She has co-led an MPI-ILO project on pathways to skilled work, and a project on mainstreaming integration in the EU. She holds a PhD in Political Science from University College London, with a focus on citizenship and the rights of non-citizens.

I am a Doctoral Student in the East-West Psychology program at the California Institute of Integral Studies (San Francisco, CA). My dissertation proposal on "Outside of American Dream: Exploring the Embodied Psyche of Queer and Intersex Asylum Seekers & Refugees in the USA."
I am also a published author and an intersex educator. My previous academic background includes an M.S. in Nonprofit Management at The New School (NYC) and a B.A. in Sociology at Kemerovo State University in Russia.

Rut Bermejo is associate professor in Politics at the Law and Social Sciences Faculty (Rey Juan Carlos University) in Madrid. Phd (URJC) in 2007; MA in Politics (University of Warwick) in 2004. BA in politics and sociology (UNED) in 2000; and BA in Law (UCM) in 1996. She coordinates the MA in Criminal Profiling at the URJC. She has been researcher on international terrorism at the Elcano Think Tank (2005-2008) and visiting research fellow at the University of Nottingham (2008).
Her research areas include: justice and home affairs public policies. She has published a dozen of journal articles and book chapters on these issues.

Lisa is a researcher at De Burcht, the Scientific Research Institute for the Dutch Labour Movement. She is interested in the interaction between employment relations and migration, with a special focus on trade union strategies towards migrant labour, posted workers and other a-typical workers.

The main focus of my research is on the intersection of science, society and technology, the social and societal impacts of technology, as well as the individual to societal, ethical to epistemological implications of technology.

Currently conducting my doctoral project, with the provisional title of: "Negotiating belonging in contested spaces: Queer and religious migrants in Oslo and London".
Graduated from the University of Oslo with a thesis exploring the connection between political participation and sense of belonging among migrants in the city of Brescia (Italy).
