Residence permit granted for humanitarian purposes: 18. Residence permit may be granted to the following categories of persons - (a)victims of trafficking; (b) rejected asylum seekers; c) unaccompanied minors; and (d) any other prescribed category.

the Minister may, in the following specifial circumstances as he thinks fit and with the approval of the Cabinet, allow a person who ahs resided in Lesotho for a lesser period thatn 10 years to apply for citizenship.
