Art. 34 - Se considera residente temporario la persona extranjera que ingresa al país a desarrollar una actividad por un plazo determinado. [...] B) Personas que ingresen al país por razones humanitarias. Art. 44 - Asimismo, se podrá autorizar el ingreso condicional al país de las personas que no reúnan los requisitos establecidos en la presente ley y su reglamentación, cuando existan razones excepcionales de índole humanitaria, interés público o en cumplimiento de compromisos internacionales. TRANSLATION:

Art. 34 - A foreign person who enters the country to carry out an activity for a determined period of time is considered a temporary resident. [...] B) Persons who enter the country for humanitarian reasons. Art. 44 - Likewise, it may be authorized the conditional entry into the country of persons who do not meet the requirements established in this law and its regulations, when there are exceptional reasons of a humanitarian nature, public interest or in compliance with international commitments.
