The Special Rapporteur on the human rights of migrants is an independent expert appointed by the United Nations Human Rights Council. The mandate was created in 1999 by the Commission on Human Rights, pursuant to resolution 1999/44. The website for the UN Special Rapporteur has the full repository of annual reports.
