Objectives

  •  

  • Increase knowledge and understanding of migration governance and the UN Network on Migration.

  • Understand how the integration of migration into Cooperation Framework contributes to the implementation of the GCM and the realization of the SDGs.

  • Explore ways that the UN Network on Migration in-country can support joint programming and implementation of the Cooperation Framework.

  •

  •  

  • Integrate migration into the joint programming being developed by RGs, incl. exploring a potential CN for the Migration Multiparter Trust Fund (M-MPTF) on data or protection (related to disembarkation).

  • Develop a communications plan to work towards changing the narrative on migration and explore whether UNCT communications staff can support this.

  • Ensure that emerging issues or progress on implementation of the GCM is adequately captured in the next iteration of the CCA.
