At Migration Week 2022, the UN Network on Migration will host an event inviting Member States, the United Nations system, and all partners to discuss the capacity building mechanism (CBM) and how it supports the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration (GCM). In line with the policy debate at the International Migration Review Forum, the event will highlight the various aspects of the mechanism and showcase its potential in advancing effective, impactful, and sustainable migration policies and programmes.
