Launch of the WHO Global Evidence Review on Health and Migration (GEHM) series and first report “Refugees and migrants in times of COVID-19: mapping trends of public health and migration policies and practices"

Global evidence on the health of refugees and migrants is limited and decision makers at national, regional and global levels often face challenges in developing and implementing policies, including those on legal frameworks that address health needs of refugees and migrants. The COVID-19 pandemic put a spotlight on the lack of coordinated and consistent public health responses and reaffirmed the importance of timely evidence.

Join us for the launch of the WHO Global Evidence Review on Health and Migration (GEHM) series and first report “Refugees and migrants in times of COVID-19: mapping trends of public health and migration policies and practices". The webinar will present the findings and policy considerations from the first report of the series with the aim to facilitate international dialogue and knowledge sharing around the health needs of refugees and migrants and how to address them.
