Date
The annual meeting of the United Nations Network on Migration will take place online on 9 and 10 December 2021. It will occur five months before the International Migration Review Forum (IMRF) of the Global Compact on Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration (GCM).
Within this overarching area and pursuant to the Network’s terms of reference, the annual meeting will also be an opportunity to:
- review the Network’s progress;
- review working arrangements and explore ways to further enhance collaboration;
- identify emerging challenges; and
- take decisions on the next steps. The meeting will also be an opportunity to gather momentum for and visibility around the GCM and IMRF, including through the forthcoming Secretary-General’s Report.
