TENTATIVE DEADLINE OF IMPLEMENTATION:

The Colombian Government will make, within the framework of the International Migration Review Forum, the announcement of a financial contribution to support the actions of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in its efforts to promote the implementation of the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration during 2022.

LAST UPDATED: 28/06/23

On March 24, 2022, the Government of Colombia made a voluntary contribution to the International Organization for Migration - IOM of USD$ 50,000, which was communicated to the IOM through a note verbale S-DICI-22-009725. This contribution was a recognition of the important work carried out by IOM in the country and in the region to assist, protect and integrate the migrant population in the host countries and, particularly, in its role as co-leader of the response to migratory flows mixed from Venezuela. Specifically, these resources were used to support the implementation of the actions established by the IOM within the framework of the Venezuela Regional Refugee and Migrant Response Plan (RMRP) 2022.
