Financial contribution to the Migration Multi-Partner Trust Fund (Migration MPTF)

TENTATIVE DEADLINE OF IMPLEMENTATION:

Azerbaijan recognizes the need for collective action in order to achieve safe, orderly and regular migration. GCM has articulated a comprehensive framework for migration, establishes a common reference point for states and facilitates negotiations between countries of origin, transit and destination. The Migration MPTF, as called by the GCM to support Member States in their implementation of the GCM, has been proven as a successful financial mechanism based on mutual trust, determination and solidarity amongst various stakeholders of migration.

Remaining true to its commitments under GCM and as a Champion Country, Azerbaijan pledges to make financial contribution to the Migration MPTF to provide support to the implementation of the GCM in the most balanced manner.
