Strengthening the transnational response to smuggling of migrants

The Gambia is pledging on the commitment to strengthening the transnational response to smuggling of migrants. As part of efforts to strengthen local capacity, as well as working collaboratively with partners to prevent, investigate, prosecute and penalize the smuggling of migrants, Government of The Gambia pledges to enact a smuggling bill by 2023 amid the challenge of charging smugglers.

Tentative deadline of implementation:
