We also believe that the issue of climate change displacement and migration requires a regional response. In this regard, we call for the establishment of a Grand Coalition of Pacific Leaders on Climate Change Displacement and Migration to nd regional solutions to the issue of climate change displacement and migration. This Grand Coalition should consist of leaders from government, churches and other civil society organisations and should be tasked with nding workable and socially acceptable options for addressing climate change displacement and migration in our region.
