“[...] que es importante avanzar en el debate sobre los desplazamientos humanos a partir de factores medioambientales, incluyendo el cambio climático, o en razón de graves condiciones humanitarias que requieran protección. Por ello, impulsaremos en el marco del Pacto Mundial sobre Migraciones una estrategia de cooperación internacional y mecanismos de articulación efectiva frente a las emergencias causadas por las situaciones mencionadas”. TRANSLATION -

“[...] that it is important to move forward in the debate on human displacement due to environmental factors, including climate change, or due to serious humanitarian conditions that require protection. For this reason, within the framework of the Global Compact on Migration, we will promote an international cooperation strategy and effective articulation mechanisms in the face of emergencies caused by the aforementioned situations.”
