TRANSLATION -

Ps. 5, 26, 44

The other major elements of the migratory phenomenon are linked to the issues of climate change, the fight against desertification and the search for decent work.

Ps. 5, 26, 44

climate change: climate change is increasingly affecting Niger through the irregularity of rains and even the recurrence of droughts and floods. These factors have significant effects on food and nutritional security through the drop in production agro-silvo-pastoral and fisheries. They also aggravate the vulnerability of populations, particularly in rural areas, through the destruction of production and habitats. The precariousness of households resulting from these two forms of disaster leads to significant population displacements.
