This dynamic is strengthened by the opening of roads or pathways into the jungle, increasing the migration of the population, and, consequently, increasing socio-environmental problems. Experience shows that deforestation has increased where they have been opened highways or routes of penetration in the Peruvian Amazon, or on the banks of rivers, due to the establishment of human settlements and migratory agriculture.
