Migration Multi-Partner Trust Fund (Migration MPTF)

Established by the UN Network on Migration in May 2019, the Fund is governed by a diverse and inclusive Steering Committee and administered by the UN Multi-Partner Trust Fund Office.

The Migration Multi-Partner Trust Fund (MMPTF) is the only UN financing mechanism fully dedicated to supporting joint initiatives of Member States, the United Nations system and other stakeholders in the national implementation of the Global Compact. The first six joint initiatives were selected in October 2020 - South Africa, Tajikistan, Philippines, North Macedonia, Chile and Mexico, and at the border area between Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone.
