The EU-funded QuantMig (Quantifying Migration Scenarios for Better Policy) project will develop various directly applicable tools for policy support. These will include open data and models, accessible interactive tools and visualisations, and a range of simulations for migration policy and planning. The project will focus on understanding the mobility of third-country nationals and decision-making of migrants, illuminating the trade-offs between different policy options, and managing the complexity and uncertainty of migration. The project's distinctly quantitative approach will improve migration data and related analytical methods.
