Migration and global environmental change: future challenges and opportunities

This report examines migration trends around the world—both internal and international—in the context of environmental change over the next 50 years. It finds that environmental change will have an influence on a range of economic, social and political drivers which themselves affect migration and is considered the key reference on conceptual issues around the topic.
