United Nations Expert Group on Migration Statistics
The United Nations Expert Group on Migration Statistics initiated its work in June 2017 on data disaggregation by migratory status for monitoring the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. In March 2018, the Group was formalized by the Statistical Commission at its forty-ninth session in 2018. The Secretariat of the Expert Group is the United Nations Statistics Division.
