Amendment of the “Overseas Employment and Migrants Act- 2013”

TENTATIVE DEADLINE OF IMPLEMENTATION:
The amended Act will be placed before the Parliament for enactment after completing due procedures. The revised Act will be more aligned with GCM objectives, incorporating provisions to bring greater accountability and transparency in recruitment process, to provide special financial and other customized services for female migrant workers, and to include reintegration process.

*References to Kosovo shall be understood to be in the context of United Nations Security Council resolution 1244 (1999).
