Conducting bilateral migration dialogues with various countries (common, inter alia: France, Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Nigeria)

TENTATIVE DEADLINE OF IMPLEMENTATION:
In view of changing conditions on the main migration routes, the need for close bilateral exchanges to form opinions in the EU Council (inter alia, on the reform of the Common European Asylum System, and cooperation with countries of transit, reception and origin) we hold bilateral migration dialogues with EU partner, e.g. regularly with Spain, Greece and ITA.

In addition migration dialuges have already been held with Non-EU member states. In the field of migration only a partnership approach with transit, origin and host countries will be successful in the long term. We are already conducting dialogues in various formats. Examples are the migration dialogues within the framework of binational government commissions e.g. with Nigeria as well as bilateral migrations dialogues with Turkey and Egypt.
