The Government of The Gambia as a GCM Champion Country is committed to the guiding principles of the GCM, a whole-of-government approach and whole-of-society approach. Following the successful establishment of a National Coordination Mechanism on migration (NCM) which allows a whole-of-Government approach in migration management and governance, The Gambia is pledging to expand this structure to regional levels by instituting Regional Coordination Mechanisms (RCM) in migration management. This will include all players at the local level to form synergy. at the doorsteps of the beneficiaries.
