Provide technical support to country networks/teams to enhance inclusive implementation, follow up and review of the GCM at country-level within Asia Pacific region within the second cycle of the regional reviews.

TENTATIVE DEADLINE OF IMPLEMENTATION:
Recognizing the progress made by the Regional Network on Migration for Asia Pacific (Network) including organizing the first Asia Pacific Regional Review using the ESCAP intergovernmental platform and multi-stakeholder consultations to strengthen capacity to support GCM implementation and engagement with the Network, and GCM Champion Series Dialogues, the Network is committed in line with the GCM’s guiding principles to build on and complement these activities namely 1) strengthen information exchange and capacity building on GCM in the region with governments and stakeholders, 2) jointly support the establishment of UN migration country networks, 3) support the inclusive development of GCM national action plans, and 4) advocate for expansion of champion countries particularly noting underrepresented sub-regions.
