Strengthening communication with relevant stakeholders when establishing the Basic Plan for Policies on Foreigners

TENTATIVE DEADLINE OF IMPLEMENTATION:
While previous Basic Plans were mainly devised by the central government, the following 2023-27 term Plan will be different. Korean government will actively engage with local governments, academia, civil society, and others. By this, it is expected that central and local migration policies can be harmonized, and the government will react more promptly to issues on migrants.
