Support developing approaches and mechanisms in the context of cross-border disaster displacement/ Support to the Platform on Disaster Displacement
Germany supports the Platform on Disaster Displacement (PDD) to address challenges connected to disaster displacement (incl. prevention and protection regimes). Germany supports the secretariat of the PDD as a member of the Steering Group, financially (3 million EUR from 2019 to 2022) and through one additional staff who supports the GCM-related work of the platform. Germany will continue its support for the work of the PDD.
