Whole-of-Society approach to migration management and governance
TENTATIVE DEADLINE OF IMPLEMENTATION: 01 January 2026
The Government of The Gambia as a GCM Champion Country is committed to the guiding principles of the GCM, a whole-of-government approach and whole-of-society approach. GCM is being implemented under the NCM, and as such a whole-of-government approach is already in place but with the inclusion of other partners, we hope to establish a whole-of-society approach by the next IMRF in 2026. This is with a view to strengthening partnership with the private sector, CSOs, academia, media, and other stakeholders in the implementation of the GCM.
