Jean-Michel Lafleur is Research Professor at the Faculty of Social Science of the University of Liège, Associate Director of CEDEM and a Senior Research Associate at the Belgian Fund for Scientific Research (FRS-FNRS). Jean-Michel is also the Coordinator of the IMISCOE Research Network (2022-2026). His area of expertise includes immigrants' access to welfare, EU mobility and the political participation of minorities.

Francesca Lagomarsino is Associate Professor in Sociology of Cultural Processes, SPS/08, at Disfor, University of Genoa, where she teaches Sociology of Education and Sociology of the Family.
Her research interests belong to two study areas. The first concerns transnational migration processes with a focus on female migration, transnational families and second generations and their inclusion in the educational system, female and family migration. Another area of research concerns gender roles within the couple, parental roles, the school-family relationship and inequalities in educational systems. She is one of the founding members of Disfor's Visual Sociology Lab. She also collaborates with Centro Studi Medì, Migrations in the Mediterranean.
She coordinates the editorial series “Migrations and Social Change” of the Genova University Press.

Laura Lamas Abraira is a graduate in Social and Cultural Anthropology and holds an international PhD in Intercultural Studies. Her research interests include care, migration and transnationalism, cultural engagement and social inequality.
Currently she is a Ramón y Cajal Junior fellow at the Department of Anthropology of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and collaborator of the EU-funded project “ AccessIN: Social Inclusion and Access to Basic Services of Third-Country Nationals (EU-Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund, AMIF 2020-AG).

I work in a project evaluating Teaching Recovery Techniques (TRT), a group intervention for migrant children and youth suffering from post-traumatic stress. I have clinical experience as a nurse working with migrant health care as well as from the civil society. My hope is that the TRT project will contribute to more efficient and accessible support programmes being available for children with traumatic experiences.
