Capacity-building Programs for non-GCM Champion Countries
TENTATIVE DEADLINE OF IMPLEMENTATION:
The Foreign Service Institute (FSI), as an attached agency of the Department of Foreign Affairs, can conduct professional courses, technical trainings and programs to enhance skills and capacities on migration management with a focus on the Philippines’ strengths such as handling of trafficking and legal cases, and crisis response and management. It may be possible to partner with IOM Philippines, among others, in creating the curricula and identifying resource speakers to develop programs that would fit the goals of FSI in providing improving the skillset of the foreign service personnel.
