Denmark commits EUR 4 million from 2023 to the Migration Multi-Partner Trust Fund

TENTATIVE DEADLINE OF IMPLEMENTATION:

Since the Migration Multi-Partner Trust Fund (MMPTF) was called for by the Global Compact on Migration, Denmark has been a longstanding supporter and key donor of the Fund. The Fund is the only funding mechanism fully dedicated to supporting collective action on migration, including ensuring improved migration management across sectors based on a whole-of-government and whole-of-society approach. Due to this importance, Denmark commits to redouble its contribution to the MMPTF from EUR 2 million in 2020 to a total of EUR 4 million [DKK 30 million] from 2023. Additionally, Denmark will enter the MMPTF’s Steering Committee in August 2022. We look forward to engaging in decision-making processes in close collaboration with other stakeholders, including donors, states as well as UN-organizations.

LAST UPDATE: 25/OCT/23
