Migration Matters

TENTATIVE DEADLINE OF IMPLEMENTATION:
This initiative will focus on the promotion and protection of human rights of migrants, as well as the prevention of violation of human rights against migrants. Through public legal education, support, advice and resources, we aim to empower migrants and societies to realize full inclusion and social cohesion, discuss ways to address and reduce vulnerabilities in migration, explain all forms of discrimination and ways to eliminate these forms of migration. This initiative will also provide migrants and prospective migrants accurate, easy to understand information on pathways to migration, provide direct or referral services to basic services and assistance, and provide skills developing courses to facilitate the recognition of skills, qualifications and competences of migrants. The initiative will also advocate for migrants internationally, calling for member states and other stakeholders attention to vulnerabilities in migration and challenges faced by migrants and take action in addressing these issues.
